Kimono no no no…

When it’s really yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

You either love them or hate them but one thing’s for sure, kimono’s are going to keep coming back. They’re easy to wear, nice and light in the warmer weather and can be really flattering if you get the right shape. If you don’t like to flash the flesh, but you don’t want to be boiling in the heat, they’re the ideal outerwear. They can be worn with swimwear, shorts, jeans and even wrapped right across with a belt for a nice light Summer dress. They have returned in the shape of dresses and tops too. As outerwear, I prefer the tight arms, knee length kimono as they skim your frame and can create a slimmer, taller silhouette. The short box shaped ones are gorgeous as a wrap dress, nipping you in at the waist, with a flattering V neck, showing a little leg and not worrying about your arms, like many of us Irish women do. Here, I will share some of my favourite styles with you.
